For years, adventurers from all over the world
have searched for the mythic paradise of Shangri-La
and have found little…until now. Explore sacred
Buddhist caves and witness as experts look back
into time as they uncover centuries-old manuscripts
and stunning wall paintings that have remained
undisturbed for years. Has the real Shangri-La
finally been discovered? Will it survive the erosion
and visitors that the future is bound to bring?

Taming Your Inner Tyrant
Talk and Booksigning with
author Patti de Llosa

Taming Your Inner Tyrant: A Path to Healing
through Dialogues with Oneself describes the
author's experiences with psychiatrist C. G. Jung's
active imagination exercise, in which she dialogued
with her intrusive inner critics and gradually found
relief from both physical and psychic pain. At the
end of each of the 17 chapters she offers
experiments the reader can make to discover
and dialogue with his or her own personal inner
judges. Now that Jung's Red Book has been
published, hailed by the New York Times as
"the Holy Grail of the Unconscious," there is
increasing interest in this mysterious process.

Full Moon Meditation
with Kathy Newburn

******************************************************

Come join an informal group in which we consult
the I-Ching as a theme setter for meditation.
The meetup will include drawing out of an I-Ching
image, some discussion on it, a a few periods of
silent meditation with feedback.

The I-Ching is a helpful way to frame the energies
of life and life matters, it leads to greater
self-understanding.  It is also an enjoyable way
to access and explore perennial philosophy and
Taoist arts, which it informs and actually predates.

Dress comfortably and be prepared to sit a few
times for 10-20 minutes in silence.  A notepad
may be useful for those that wish to keep a record,
and participants may bring their own version of
the I-Ching as desired.

Conducted by Inoshi Howie Elmer, MA,
Energy Wellness Practitioner & Intuitive
Messenger.  His credentials include multiple
modalities, which he combines into distinctive
methods and systems, providing safe, sensitive
energy wellness therapy and guidance to
numerous clients.  He holds individual and
group sessions, organizes holistic workshops
and volunteers with a handful of organizations.
