THE YOGI'S OF TIBET DVD Presentation

A fascinating film focusing on the great yogis of Tibet, and their lives in retreat practicing secret self-transforming physical and mental exercises.  Through these techniques they have developed extraordinary control over both mind and body.  Normally these yogis are vowed to extreme secrecy to maintain the purity of their practices, but agreed to be interviewed, including one rare demonstration of yogic exercise and abilility to help preserve their fast vanishing culture.

Ann Finneran will present a review of the last 35 years in terms of the planned emergence of the World Teacher and Masters of Wisdom, offering correspondences between Theosophical teachings and the disseminations by noted author and esotericist Benjamin Creme. Various occurrences during that time frame will be covered, such as many teachings and perspectives which were conveyed to Share International magazine by a direct contact of Maitreya’s. Recent updates and documented experiences and phenomenon will be presented. Transmission meditation will also be described, and the method taught. The philosophy of Advaita, literally non-dualism, is the premier and oldest extant among the Vedanta schools of Indian Philosophy.  The Upanishadic quest is to understand Brahman, the source of everything, the Atman, the Self, and the relationship between Brahman and Atman.  The Upanishads explore these issues from different angles.  The Advaita school teaches a complete essential identity between Brahman and Atman.  In other Vedantic traditions, the essential relationship between Atman and Brahman is understood in different ways.
